Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Is Unveiled:
The new Lenovo ThinkPad X220 was unveiled accidentally (?) on the company’s website not too long ago. The new laptop boast some pretty interesting spec’s (no pricing though) and if you’re interested in the latest iteration from this leader in productivity, read on.
The X220 is a 12.5 inch laptop with a 1366 X 768 IPS display. It also sports a new “buttonless” touchpad which, somehow, still has buttons. While the processors are configurable, you can cram up a 2.7GHz Core i7 inside along with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM (wow). Lenovo decided to go with integrated Intel graphics but at least opted for the HD capable chips.

As far as hard drive go, solid state is the way of the future and that’s all Lenovo is going to offer. You can choose from a range of SSDs all the way up to the rather large 160GB model.
And with all this performance you might expect this laptop to draw some power. That’s why Lenovo has strapped on a 9 cell battery that will last up to 15 hours of continuous use! You can also opt for an external battery extender pack that will give you a full 23 hours of uninterrupted computing.
Did I mention this was a convertible? That’s right, swivel that pretty display around and you’ve got a 12.5 inch tablet PC.
