Microsoft OneNote for iPhone Arrives in the UK
OneNote is similar to the likes of Evernote which is also used to capture and organise notes/emails/pictures/audio etc... The Microsoft OneNote app syncs up so that all connected devices can edit notes and have them automatically transferred to all other devices. If you're out and about you can take notes whilst on the move and have them automatically arrive on your computer for when you get back to the desk. Alternatively, if you want to plan a trip and create an itinerary then you make it on your desktop and when you leave the office, the list of places to visit is already synced to OneNote on your iPhone.
We are not sure how long Microsoft will keep OneNote free for, but for now they mention it's free for a limited time. Also, Microsoft have said the app is compatible with the iPad but note that it's an iPhone only app which means you'll need to use the 2x button to zoom in to the app. Hopefully a new version comes along soon bringing iPad support.
More details of the desktop version can be found over at Microsoft. For those wanting to download it to the iPhone, just do a search for OneNote in the app store.
