Spice Stellar Buddy Mi-315 is an
entry-level Android smartphone, takes on the likes of Micromax A30
Smarty 3.0 and Lava IRIS N320.
S Mobility
has introduced an entry-level Android smartphone, called Spice Stellar
Buddy Mi-315. The new Spice smartphone is available at online stores
Flipkart and Saholic for Rs. 3,492 and Rs. 3,490 respectively.
Also being dubbed as Spice's
cheapest smartphone, the Stellar Buddy Mi-315 supports dual-SIM
(GSM+GSM). The smartphone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and is powered
by a 1GHz processor. It has 256MB of RAM.
Other key specifications of the Buddy
Mi-315 include 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, 3.2MP rear camera, 170MB
built-in storage and has a microSD slot that supports storage up to
16GB. For connectivity, the Buddy Mi-315 supports A-GPS, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth and USB. There's a 1400 mAh battery.

The Spice Mi-315 comes preloaded with
apps such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Linkedin, Yahoo, Gmail, Google
Play, GMS, SpiceGang, WhatsApp, Vault and TOI.

The Spice Stellar Buddy Mi-315 is set to compete against a range of sub-5k smartphones such as the Micromax Smarty 3.0 A30 and Lava IRIS N320.
Available online at Rs. 3,849, the
Micromax A30 Smarty 3.0 features dual-SIM capabilities, Android 2.3
Gingerbread, 832MHz CPU with 256MB of RAM, 512MB ROM, expandable up to
32GB via microSD, 3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of

The Lava IRIS N320 is available for Rs.
3,399. It features 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, 2MP rear camera,
Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, 1GHz processor. For Rs. 500 more, Lava
is offering an upgraded smartphone called the IRIS N350, featuring
dual-SIM, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread, 3.5-inch screen and 2MP camera.
