HCL PLACEMENT PATTERN

Hai friends,One of myfriend attended hcl comnet in VIT University. He got selected in hcl comnet. The pattern for this company is
1)    Written test

It consists of
        a)Aptitude Section
        b)Reasoning
        c)English
2) Group Discussion
             

For us he asked each student about Tell me about urself and he had given a topic. He asked us to speak about it.(eg: India, School life ,College life ,Cooking, role model)

3)Technical Interview

           In this he asked questions mainly from Computer Networks(OSI layers, routers,differences between CDM and GSM,TCP/IP protocols), Operating Systems. Some of questions from our areas of interest.

4)HR

General Questions

Tellme about urself, Family Background, talk about any topic for 3min, short term and long term plan, ur passion, r u willing to work in Noida, about company etc

Be prepare for this hr questions. They observe confidence and flow of English. There should not be more gaps while talking. Be careful friends.

Many of the people felt that this company is bpo. But this is not bpo. It is HCL INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION. There projects are in infrastructure domain implementation, networking and communication related activities.

One thing, this is my 9th company. I had already qualified in 3 companies written tests. But In further rounds iam not selected. So don’t loose hope and be confident. Every one who works hard will definitely get job. But God will test our patience. So always be confident.
